The Risk Management and Insurance Mission Statement
For humanitarian, social, legal, and financial reasons, the University will make every reasonable effort to protect the health and safety of members of the Boise State University community and the public from any hazard incidental to operations of the University. We strive to preserve and protect Boise State's assets and resources against losses arising out of any occurrence, thereby enabling the University to carry out its goals and purposes of providing quality education. In order to fulfill these objectives, we will consider all types of risk, including but not limited to natural risks, environmental risks, human risks, financial risks, physical risks, technological risks, informational risks, political risks, and social risks.
