How Do I File A Worker's Compensation Claim?

Worker's Compensation Insurance provides medical treatment and wage replacement for eligible workers who become injured or ill because of circumstances arising out of and in the course of their work. There may be instances when an injury during work hours and at the work site are not covered, examples include: horseplay, intentional injury to oneself, injured by another individual for personal reasons nor related to the job, and injuries occurring during voluntary activity outside the scope of your job.

All documentation for filing a claim is available in the Risk Management and Insurance office. Risk Management does not decide the status of your claim. Risk Management acts as a liaison between the State Insurance Fund and the injured employee.
