Worker’s Compensation Supervisor/Manager Training

This Risk Management & Insurance sponsored training is conducted annually by our Worker’s Compensation insurance provider, the Idaho State Insurance Fund. The class is designed to assist supervisors and managers in protecting their employees on the job and, should a workplace injury occur, provide information on claim reporting, costs associated with claims, treatment facility requirements, and transportation to and from treatment facilities. A Two-hour class is offered as noted below.

  • Two-Hour Session: For supervisors and managers that are new to Boise State or have not previously attended this training. Session topics include an overview of worker’s compensation, how to conduct loss prevention activities and reduce worker’s compensation losses, how to identify and control hazards, investigate accidents, keep appropriate records and how to provide employee safety training.
